Why do bookings get cancelled?
Approximately 1 out of every 10 bookings gets cancelled, of which 90% by clients and 10% by the escort. We will tell you a little bit more about the most important reasons for bookings to get cancelled.
When the client cancels the booking
Most bookings that are cancelled are cancelled by the client. As long as a cancellation is made at least 4 hours in advance, and you don't do this all the time, there is no problem. Of course it's a pity, since just like you the escort was looking forward to the date, but we understand things like this can happen. For more information about our cancellation policy, we recommend reading our Terms and Conditions. The most common reasons for canceling a booking are:
- Your travel plans to visit The Netherlands are cancelled or changed.
- You are not feeling well.
- A business or personal emergency has come up.
- You are unable to provide the funds for the booking.
- Your schedule has changed and your presence is required elsewhere.
When a cancellation is made, we will inquire about any possible alternative dates and times that might work for you, so we can alter the booking. If no such alternative is available yet, we'll wait for your next booking request.
When the escort cancels the booking
Luckily, very few bookings are cancelled by the escort. However understanding we are towards the schedule of clients changing, escorts are not given the same understanding and are expected to secure their availability for confirmed bookings. Therefore, most bookings that are cancelled by the escort are done rather last minute because an emergency came up. The most common reasons for canceling a booking are:
- A personal or family emergency has come up.
- The escort is not feeling well.
- An opportunity arises for the escort that is of greater importance than the booking, such as job/study opportunities.
- She quits or gets fired.
When a cancellation is made, we will inform you as soon as possible about possible alternatives, either with the same escort for an alternative date and time or with an other escort for the original date and time. If neither are of your liking, we will cancel the booking all together and wait for your next booking request.
