What happens if you need to cancel a booking?

A cancellation is never ideal, but sometimes it cannot be avoided. At a high class escort service we understand that schedules change, trips are rescheduled or that you may simply not feel well. That is why clear rules are in place that protect both your interests and the escort’s time.

If you wish to change, reschedule or cancel a booking, it is important that you inform us as soon as possible. This can be done by email or through your member profile. If the appointment starts within six hours, we also ask you to confirm this by phone. A cancellation only becomes final once you have received confirmation from our office. From that moment the change is irrevocable and everyone involved knows where they stand.

In many cases you can cancel a booking without a cancellation fee, provided you notify us in time and the appointment is not a so called Guaranteed Booking. How far in advance this must be done depends on your client status. New clients usually have a longer notice period than members or premium members. If the cancellation happens later, a cancellation fee may apply. This often starts at 25 percent and can increase up to the full booking fee if the escort has already begun preparing.

This preparation phase is important to understand. An escort usually begins preparing about two hours before the appointment, including any travel to the location. From that moment her time is reserved exclusively for your booking. If the appointment is cancelled after that point, the reserved time can no longer be filled.

When do most clients cancel

In practice only a small percentage of appointments are cancelled. On average about five percent of bookings are cancelled, with a slight increase during the flu season. The most common reasons are quite familiar:

  • an unexpected change in a business trip
  • health complaints such as a cold or flu
  • unexpected personal circumstances

In all of these situations escorts appreciate it when clients inform us as soon as possible. This is not only respectful, but also gives us the opportunity to adjust the planning.

Other frequently asked questions from clients about what happens if you need to cancel

Below are the most common questions about cancellations, answered honestly based on our policy and practice.

How do I cancel a booking? Please notify us as soon as possible by email or through your member profile. If the booking starts within six hours, we also ask you to confirm the cancellation by phone. The cancellation is only final once we have confirmed receipt.

Will I be charged a cancellation fee? That depends on when you cancel, your client status and whether the booking is a Guaranteed Booking. For a timely cancellation of a regular booking, no cancellation fee applies, though reservation costs remain due. New clients must cancel at least 72 hours in advance, members 48 hours and premium members 24 hours. Cancellations after these deadlines may incur a fee ranging from 25% to 100% of the booking rate.

What is a Guaranteed Booking and why does it have different cancellation terms? A booking qualifies as guaranteed when the travel distance exceeds 250 kilometres, the duration is 24 hours or longer, when you have cancelled a significant proportion of past bookings, or when you request a Guaranteed Booking yourself, meaning your escort cancels her existing plans to accommodate your request. A cancellation fee of 50% applies up to 72 hours before the start, and 100% thereafter.

Is there a discount on the cancellation fee if I pay quickly? Yes. If you pay the cancellation fee in full within 14 days, you receive 50% back as credit towards a future booking. This makes our policy considerably more flexible than what is standard for comparable bespoke services.

Should I cancel if I am ill or have a cold? Yes, in most cases you should. During the first few days of a cold you are most contagious and cancellation is required. With the flu, you are already contagious before symptoms appear and remain so for the first five days. Please also cancel in the case of a cold sore, throat infection, scabies or any other contagious condition. When in doubt, cancel. Your escort applies the same standard to protect you.

How often are bookings cancelled? On average, approximately 5% of bookings are cancelled, rising to around 8% during flu season. If you cancel significantly more often than average, a Guaranteed Booking may be required for future reservations.

What happens if the escort needs to cancel? This is rare, occurring in approximately 1% of bookings. The reason is almost always illness or an emergency in her personal life. In that case, we will do our best to help you find an alternative escort so your booking can still go ahead.

What happens to my deposit if I cancel? Payments are offset against any amounts due. The remaining balance is refunded in accordance with our terms and conditions. External costs and work already carried out are not eligible for reimbursement.
