What happens if you need to cancel a booking?
A cancellation is never ideal, but sometimes it cannot be avoided. At a high class escort service we understand that schedules change, trips are rescheduled or that you may simply not feel well. That is why clear rules are in place that protect both your interests and the escort’s time.
If you wish to change, reschedule or cancel a booking, it is important that you inform us as soon as possible. This can be done by email or through your member profile. If the appointment starts within six hours, we also ask you to confirm this by phone. A cancellation only becomes final once you have received confirmation from our office. From that moment the change is irrevocable and everyone involved knows where they stand.
In many cases you can cancel a booking without a cancellation fee, provided you notify us in time and the appointment is not a so called Guaranteed Booking. How far in advance this must be done depends on your client status. New clients usually have a longer notice period than members or premium members. If the cancellation happens later, a cancellation fee may apply. This often starts at 25 percent and can increase up to the full booking fee if the escort has already begun preparing.
This preparation phase is important to understand. An escort usually begins preparing about two hours before the appointment, including any travel to the location. From that moment her time is reserved exclusively for your booking. If the appointment is cancelled after that point, the reserved time can no longer be filled.
When do most clients cancel
In practice only a small percentage of appointments are cancelled. On average about five percent of bookings are cancelled, with a slight increase during the flu season. The most common reasons are quite familiar:
- an unexpected change in a business trip
- health complaints such as a cold or flu
- unexpected personal circumstances
In all of these situations escorts appreciate it when clients inform us as soon as possible. This is not only respectful, but also gives us the opportunity to adjust the planning.
Frequently asked questions about what happens if you need to cancel
The questions below are often asked by clients who are planning an appointment or considering cancelling one.
How can I cancel a booking?
You can report a cancellation by email or through your member profile. If the booking starts within six hours, we also ask you to inform us by phone. The cancellation only becomes valid once our office has confirmed receipt.
Can I cancel a booking free of charge?
This is often possible if you notify us in time and the appointment is not a Guaranteed Booking. The required notice period depends on the client type. New clients usually have a notice period of 72 hours, members 48 hours and premium members 24 hours. In that case you do not pay a cancellation fee, but the reservation costs still apply.
What is a Guaranteed Booking?
A booking may be classified as guaranteed when, for example, the travel distance is significant, the booking duration is 24 hours or longer, or when previous bookings have frequently been cancelled. In those situations different cancellation conditions apply.
What happens if I cancel too late?
If the notice period has passed, a cancellation fee may apply. This can range from 25 percent up to 100 percent of the booking fee, depending on the moment the cancellation takes place.
What happens if the escort has to cancel?
This rarely happens, but it may occur due to illness or personal circumstances. In that case we will assist you, where possible, in finding an alternative escort so that your appointment can still take place.
Should I cancel if I am ill?
Yes. If you have flu, a cold or a contagious condition, you should cancel your booking. Not only because you will likely not feel comfortable, but also to prevent infecting the escort.
What happens to a deposit if I cancel?
Any payments made will be settled against any costs due. The remaining amount may be refunded according to the rules in the general terms and conditions, except for external costs or work that has already been carried out.
