Champagne, sparkling wine and the perfect escort date
Why bubbles are almost always a good idea
Over more than twenty years, Society Service has organised thousands of high class escort bookings. If there is one drink that consistently appears during a successful escort date, it is sparkling wine. Champagne, cava, crémant or a quality alcohol free alternative: it almost always enhances the atmosphere.
A good bottle of bubbles does something to a meeting. It takes the edge off a first introduction, creates an instant sense of celebration and encourages both of you to pause and enjoy the moment. The bubbles dance in the glass, conversations tend to flow more naturally and, for many clients, it feels like the official start of a special evening. Much like a wedding, birthday or business success, it is something worth celebrating with a glass of bubbles.
Why champagne is such a good match for a high class escort experience
A high class escort date is not just about the escort or the client. It is about the complete experience. The location, the company, the conversations, the attention you give each other and the atmosphere you create together. That is precisely why champagne fits so naturally into a luxury date.
Opening a bottle is also a small ritual. A toast is made, people laugh and the atmosphere often becomes more relaxed immediately. The pop of the cork is the unofficial starting signal for a wonderful experience together. After thousands of bookings, we can confidently say that we have never heard a client say: "I wish I hadn't brought champagne."
Champagne is not the only great choice
While champagne is the world's most famous sparkling wine, there are now many outstanding alternatives available. In some cases, they even offer better value for money.
Crémant from France is often made using the same traditional method as champagne and offers exceptional quality at a friendlier price point. Spanish cava has improved enormously over the past decade, especially within the Reserva and Gran Reserva categories. Franciacorta from Italy is considered by many wine enthusiasts to be one of the most underrated sparkling wines in the world.
Not every champagne is automatically a good choice
We regularly see clients automatically reaching for the most recognisable names in supermarkets and liquor stores. That is understandable, but not always the smartest choice.
Some major champagne houses spend enormous amounts on marketing. Ultimately, you are paying for that as well. If your budget is around thirty to forty euros, you are often better off choosing an excellent cava or crémant than the cheapest champagne from a famous brand.
If you are purchasing champagne from a regular wine merchant or liquor store, there are several houses we trust almost blindly. Brands such as Bollinger, Ruinart, Pol Roger and Laurent Perrier have consistently delivered outstanding quality for many years. A Brut from any of these houses is almost always a safe choice for a luxury escort date.
If you have access to a good specialist wine shop, you can often take things a step further. We are particularly fond of Blanc de Blancs champagnes. Made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, they are often defined by their elegance, freshness and finesse. The Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is, in our opinion, a wonderful classic. If you are looking for something with more depth and complexity, consider Deutz or Krug. Krug in particular belongs among the absolute elite of the champagne world.
Dutch oysters and Dutch sparkling wine
One of our favourite combinations comes from the Netherlands itself. The Zeeland sparkling wine Brut de Zelande pairs surprisingly well with Zeeland oysters.
The bright acidity, subtle minerality and gentle saline notes complement the character of fresh oysters beautifully. This is no coincidence, but rather a perfect example of how wine and regional products can enhance each other.
If your escort happens to enjoy oysters, this is a relatively simple way to make an impression without spending hundreds of euros.
What else pairs well with champagne?
Champagne and sparkling wine are remarkably versatile. Oysters remain a classic, as do scallops, lobster, sushi and sashimi. The fresh acidity of the wine allows these dishes to shine even more.
Caviar may well be the ultimate pairing. A small selection from House of Caviar, combined with blinis and a little crème fraîche, feels instantly festive without being excessive. We also recommend trying caviar served on a walnut. The combination may pleasantly surprise you.
Soft cheeses such as brie, triple crème and certain goat cheeses also pair beautifully with champagne. For those seeking something simpler, quality nuts, luxury charcuterie or fresh strawberries are often more than enough.
Alcohol free bubbles are now genuinely worth considering
Not everyone drinks alcohol. Sometimes by choice, sometimes because they still need to drive, and sometimes simply because they do not feel like drinking that evening. Fortunately, alcohol free sparkling wines have improved dramatically in recent years.
Among widely available options, we currently consider Motiv to be one of the best choices. At specialist retailers, producers such as Feral, Jörg Geiger, Bôtan, French Bloom, Domaine des Grottes, Gustavshof and Neverland are absolutely worth exploring.
